great foods
Though I have been in Austin for two years plus, I am not familiar with Austin's restaurants. I am used to cooking myself and eat at home. Yesterday and today, I got real surprises. I had food from Star of India yesterday. I could never imagine that I would like Indian food. I had been to Star of India before, but that was for buffet. This time, I had Lamb Shahi Korma and Keema Naan. The gravy of Lamb Shahi Korma tastes so good. Today, I had the Black Angus on Rosemary Parmesan Bread from Quiznos. I used to think Quiznos is similar to Subway. Well, I was wrong. It makes much better food than the low fat mania chain. The sub is wonderful. I am full...

update on my thesis
More than one week ago, I found that amazon.com was selling my thesis for $70. I sent an email noitce to amazon.com asking them to stop that last Friday. So far, I have not got any reply from amazon.com yet.
Today, I called Proquest, which is the publisher. I was told that they had the right to sell my thesis through their database as well as any third party vendors. I was forced to sign the agreement before my defense. :P That means amazon.com doesn't do anything wrong and I was making a fuss. The publisher also told me that if they sold any, I should be able to receive a check from them. That sounds sweet. So I updated my address immediately. Before I hung up the phone, I asked the last question. How many copies have you sold yet? After 10 secondes, I got the answer. NONE. Damn!
Continue to sell it, amazon.com. Amazon rocks.

Life is a box of shit
Life is a box of shit. It may look good from the outside, but when you open the box, it stinks.
Life is a box of shit. Even though it stinks, you have to live with it.

Lost Credit Card
I couldn't find one of my credit card. I spent most of last Saturday afternoon looking for it, but failed. I have tired hard and checked every corner of my room. I know it must be somewhere in the room. I know it, but where is it? I called the credit card company today to cancel it and then open a new account. I should improve my life style to get thing sorted better.

我真牛叉
在我自己都不知道的情况下,居然有人为我出了书。还在amazon.com上面卖$70一本。那只是我的一篇6页的conference paper啊。现在被包装成112页的长篇大作。我无语了。不过我找了半天也没找到出版商。我是不是可以去向amazon.com索要版权费啊?奶奶的。

Need For Speed: Most Wanted
When I was hanging around in Bestbuy this afternoon, I saw this game. It reminds me of my SJTU dorm life. Xiaojun had a computer in his dorm. At almost any time, there were a bunch of students gathering around the computer wathcing some one playing. Need For Speed is one popular game as two people can compete each other. Other popular games include Mahjong and Samurai, if I spelt it correctly. I bought it and tried it later today. Wow, I like it. If I can only one word to describe it, it will be awesome. For two words, damn exciting. For three words, what a game. Looks like it will keep me busy for a while. :D
MLB
It is playoff season for the baseball games. Mets swept Dodgers in the National League Division series. Mets rock. Now it is up to the Cardinals. Come on and take care of San Diego tomorrow. Actually, I am not a baseball fan at all. Unlike those Asians who are crazy about that Yankee pitcher, I don't give him a damn. All I want is Mets winning today and Cardinals win tomorrow. Then I can watch Prison Break on Monday instead of FOX airing stupid baseball games. Go, Carnidals, I will cross my fingers for you.

exhausted after working 12 hours+
This post is for my first 12 hours+ work day. I came into my office at 9:10am and left at 9:30pm yesterday. I felt tired and slow. I forgot buying milk and bread after the long day. But I got some good news. I swiched my car insurance to Geico. Puke, that was a stupid commercial I can't stand. The real good news is that I finally connected my new cellphone to my computer and was able to download pictures and ringtones to my phone. That is cool, isn't it?

So sad
The second of the escaped eight was killed on yesterday's Prison Break. First was John Abruzzi, and now it was Tweener. The writer doesn't have to kill them off, at least not in such sad ways. Of course, they made mistakes in their lives, but they don't deserve such endings.
"I kneel only to God, but I don't see him here." That is John's last words when he was busted by the police outside a motel. Tweener betrayed Michael once, and this time, he refused to be a rat. It is really sweet for him to go to Debra's house and tell her his feelings for her. But, that doesn't matter any more. The god damn psycho killed him. I can't wait to see how that psycho ends.
It is too bad that Fox will pause PB for two weeks. I have to wait 20 days to watch the next episode.
