Holiday Trip (8)
Day No. 8
We checked out our room around 9am. We went back to the national park and visited the desert view, which is the other branch of the fork. At 10am, we started our drive back home. I drove the first 200 miles and had our lunch at McDonalds. Then Kelvin did another 200 miles before handed the wheel back to me. I took care of the rest 400. We arrived at Mountain View around 10pm. What a long drive! On the way home, the clouds were getting thicker and thicker. The sun was hiding behind the clouds the whole afternoon. In the evening, it started to rain. The rain wahsed out the dust on our rental car. The odometer pointed to 2400, which means that we had driven for almost 2400 miles on the trip.
