University Campus Team
University Campus Team Kickoff for year 2007/2008 will be tomorrow. This time last year, I joined the UCT to help recruit CMU students into my company. As a short summary, I have made three trips to Pittsburgh, helped recruit 9 full times and 10 coops. Quite an achievement, eh?
When I joined, I thought it was fun as I could get free trips to Pittsburgh, visiting my advisor and friends without working. I was too naive and sometimes too simple. Due to budgets, the trip schedule is always tight. There is endless talk and explanation to numerous students again and again. Moreover, I have to catch up with my work as soon as I get back. I could still remember that I dialed in for meetings at CMU from my cellphone.
I don't know what's gonna happen for the new year. Hope I can reduce my trips to once or at most twice. Maybe I will quit the team this time next year.
